I’m still adjusting to my new schedule (the fact that our start time keeps fluctuating doesn’t help) and for me the hardest part of the adjustment has been finding time to work out. I’ve been keeping up with my yoga for the Give it 100 project (which is great for my stress level) and I’ve added in a pushup challenge to try and work on my arm strength.
I’ve settled on mini workouts for now except on the rare day off where I can do something longer (or an early day out when I can get in a run). Pinterest is full of short simple workouts that can be done in 20 minutes or less, but sometimes I like to go my own way.
This combines some basic core strengthening exercises with yoga poses that allow for increased flexibility in the muscles you’re working. It’s a fast, easy, way to get some morning movement without even breaking a sweat.
